Interesting day with my buddy Chris

Ok, today was more of an epic/fail day. I was planning to go and test out some sweet guitars and head off home. But oh man oh man, we had the worse luck. Okay, so we started of by planning to meet at Colma Station and just take the bart and walk from there. I came there at around 2:00 P.M. Chris called me and he told me that we were getting a ride. So, I was happy and thought this day would be really epic. When we arrived at Guitar Center, we got to try out some fender guitars. I had a really good time in the store. I tried out the standard American precision bass which sounded so sexy. I also tried the worn out fender precision bass. It was so light and the design was vintage. I knew that Chris was having a good time. I heard him playing "Ride on Shooting Star" and "Hysteria" which was epic. Before we left Chris needed to buy some new picks. He got 2 packs of Dunlops. Then our bad luck started. He bought 2 packs and when we left the store, he only found 1 in his pocket. It was very weird but we just let it go.

When we left, we were hungry and found Subway just a few minutes away from us. So after eating, Chris tried to call his dad, but we found out that we have to ride the bart back because his dad has work. So we were okay with that. We just had to find the bart station, no problemo. So we started walking, finding streets and following the directions that Chris wrote. After an hour of walking, we soon found out that we went in the wrong direction. We were almost at Fisherman's Wharf, waaayyy back. We had to retrace our steps and walk back and that would take ANOTHER hour. After finally reaching Guitar Center, we were on our way to the bart station. After 30 minutes of walking, I suddenly had the urge to pee. I thought that I can hold it in until we got home. But no, it took longer than I expected and soon I was panicing. Chris also needed to pee, but not as bad as me. We tried to find a public restroom but it was nowhere to be found. We had to go to a Chinese bakery and ask where it was and thank goodness, she knew. It was in the supermarket. So after hearing that, me and Chris ran for the supermarket and tried to find the restroom. We couldn't find it but luckily, we overheard some fat dude saying that he needed to go to the bathroom. We just followed him which was very awkward and YESSS, we finally found it.

After using the bathroom, we quickly started to go on our adventure to the station again. It was 7P.M. and was already dark. We continued to walk and we soon started to realize we were lost. We had to call Neil for help, but it was no use. Finally, we went up to a couple and asked them where the closest bart station is. Basically the conversation was like this:

Me: Excuse me, do you know wheres the closest bart station around here? We're kind of lost lol.
Couple: Ohhh the bart station is very far from here. You guys are screwed. (Exaggerated)
Me: Did you get that Chris?
Chris: Yeah.

So, we were basically screwed. They told us to walk to Powell which was a mile and a half. So after 40 minutes of walking...we FINALLY found it and before you know it, we were heading home. We got to ride the bart at around 9:20ish. OH, and during the journey we found plenty of interesting people. Some random person asked if we had a lighter. We found a lot of people begging for money. We found 2 prostitutes and a lot of gay people. Hey its San Francisco right? This day was very epic for the first hours, then it all tumbled down. Well, it was very interesting. Now, I'm tired and sick while typing this up. /sigh

Addiction

Ok, I'm really getting addicted to this Jpop group. Their digitized voices, catchy beats, and their cute faces all appeal to me. I found this group through my friend Eros. he favorited a video called "Chocolate Disco" by Perfume a couple of months ago. The title and the video doesn't make sense but the tone was so catchy. Their dancing was awesome too. The group consists of 3 20 year old girls, Ayano Ōmoto, Yuka Kashino and Ayaka Nishiwaki.

My favorite would have to be Ayano A.K.A Nocchi. She is the short-haired one. I think she's the cutest of them all. Perfume is like a drug. I need to listen to them everyday. After hearing Chocolate Disco, I quickly downloaded their albums and put it in my ipod. Soon, I've just been listening to them for the past few weeks. I also checked out their live performances. I know they're lip-syncing but they have to because they're dancing all these cool moves. Here's a live perfomance of them.

Its called Polyrhythm. What're you waiting for? LISTEN TO THEM NAOOO

Trying to get up?

I hate those times when I say I'm gonna wake up early tomorrow morning and get ready for school but end up falling asleep. Before I go to bed, I set the alarm clock to 630A.M. This will give me a lot of time to eat, brush my teeth, shower, and get ready for school. I tell myself that for sure I'm going to wake up. But nooo, when morning arrives and my alarm clock makes that annoying noise, I look at the time and put it on snooze. Because of this, I almost missed the bus. I had to eat really fast, shower really quick, and wear the first thing that I see in my closet. This has been happening for almost 4 days now and its really ticking me off.

Starting tomorrow, I'll try my best and wake up at 6:45A.M. I just hope I wont get lazy again >.<

NO ENGLISH HW?!

Okay, I feel very awkward. Today, I actually don't have any homework for English. It's a miracle! Seriously, when my English teacher gives out homework, I feel like I'm in prison forced to do labor or something. That one time, if i recall correctly, she made us read 2 chapters and for each page we have to write one question. So in total, we come up with around 20-30 questions. So tiring...whatever.

Today was pretty cool. First period some counselor came in and talked about our senior year and what we're missing. Things looked pretty good for me, I'm in the safe zone and I just have to continue on passing. Hope nothing goes wrong for me.

Second Period was the same. We watched a video about the Civil Rights Movement. I have to say, it kept me awake and interested. Just seeing how Martin Luther King Jr. made his speeches gave me goosebumps(in a good way.)

Third period was the same work. French.

Fourth period was boooorrrinnnngggg. Seriously, I wanna get out of that class. The teacher teaches good but how she teaches it is very boring. I end up falling asleep and getting scolded.

Fifth period was really fun. The first half of the class we took a test. Thinking it would be easy, I didn't study at all. When the teacher handed me the paper, I spaced out. I had to guess on most of them. The second half though was very funny. We watched this film that was obviously made in the 80's because of the cheesy sound effects and how people dressed. It was hilarious. I couldn't stand watching it though.

Sixth period I had food and nutrition. A demonstrator came in and cooked us some nice Thai food. It was really awesome.

Nothing else special happened today. Just another regular Tuesday.

A Bad day to a Good one

Monday, I wasn't really looking forward to it. Since I had that fight with that special someone on the phone, I expected that we were going to ignore each other for the whole day which did happen. Today has to be one of the most stressful days I've had in a long time. It was so bad, I felt really dizzy. I really didn't pay attention in class because I kept thinking of that fight on the phone. I realized that it was my fault and the blame was on me.

My first period was really awkward. We were sitting next to each other and we didn't say a thing. I wasn't really used to it. I planned to try and catch her after class and talk about what happened. But no, I was too nervous. She was right in front of me but I just let her go. It was alright I kept thinking to myself. There's always Law class with her at the end of the day.

Law class was the same...it was BORING. I couldn't even concentrate on the class discussion. So, during the class, I just thought up of ways on how I should tell her how I feel. So I patiently waited until the bell rang and when it did, she zoomed out of the room. She went out of the room like she was being chased. Now being all sad, I just planned to call her after school and hope she answers.

On 3:30p.m. I called and she answered which made me really happy. We talked it out on what was the main problem and how we can fix it. I didn't even know that she was crying for the past few days. I felt so bad I kept saying sorry. We both made a promise to each other that we would never fight again. We also promised that it'll be like the old days where we both laugh and have fun. This day turned out to be a really good one. I'm just glad that everything is fine for now.

My Weekend

This weekend has to be on the top list of "Worst Weekends Ever."

On Saturday, it was pretty cool I guess. I did my U.S. History which was really boring. Took me three hours to even finish it. I had to read a book related to the Cold War and write about my reading experiences, a summary, and my personal reflections. I had to write 3 pages about it. I kind of bull-shitted it and just made some stuff up. I procrastinated a bit and did my English reflections at 9:00P.M. I was supposed to finish all 5 pages but ended up just doing 3. Somebody called and we had an argument. It wasn't really big but for some reason, it pisses me off. Whatever.

Sunday, I had to go to church which was pretty good. I was supposed to go to Guitar Center with Chris and Eros, but instead had to do something. I was really looking forward to it too... Now, I'm really tired while writing up this blog. I just wanna sleep.

Aren't they cute?

Drummer...Finally

So recently, we found a drummer in our school. I saw him carrying drum sticks in our French class and I asked him how long has he been playing the drums. He told me he's been playing for 5 years which is really a long time. After class, I've met with my buddies Chris and Eros, telling them that I think I found our drummer. Chris told me if I could ask Jason(the drummer) if he can give us a demonstration at lunch. Jason agrees and we went to the band room.

I was with Chris when we met with Jason and Eros didn't go because he had to get his lunch. So me and Chris found Jason and headed to the band room. After he fixed the drums to his liking, he played a beat which was very impressive. I could see him playing with us and that made us really happy, since we're so desperate to find a drummer. I, then, asked him if we could have his MSN so that we can plan out what we play, etc. And that's that.

In other news, we had to go to a family friend's house for dinner last night. The food was really good and I fell asleep since I was very tired. We left around 12:44a.m. and I slept at 2a.m. just playing some more Street Fighter IV online.

Ughhh...Big French test tomorrow

Yay, its Friday tomorrow! I'm pretty excited and pretty miserable. Excited because, of course, it is a Friday and there's no school. Miserable...because I have a big French test tomorrow and I haven't studied yet. I should've studied like an hour ago, but I procrastinated. Instead of studying, I played Fallout 3, took a nap for 3 hours, and played Street Fighter IV online. Now I'm writing this blog about my procrastination. Alright, enough is enough, time to get to studying.

Street Fighter IV experience VS Seth

So I just finished a match with some dude who uses cheap-ass Seth. Of course I used Ken and it was best out of 5. I won the first round, doing some shoryukens and winning the round easily. Now the next two rounds he did a lot of cheap moves. He started to jump away from me and used the wall to fly and kick me on the head, similar to Chun-Li's moves.

He won the 2nd round but I stole the third trying to use the same tactics and just blocking it. Now for the final round, he started to do his cheap move again but I tried to stop it by going close to him. I failed and ended up getting Ultra'd. He still has a half-bar of life and just 3 hard punches could kill me. Luckily, he was being cocky and headed straight on for me. I, then took this as an advantage and jumped with a kick, following it with a shoryuken and quickly using my super-combo, leading me to a win. It was pretty close, but I escaped losing.

L4D with my bro

Oh man,I just had the most epic experience with my brother in the game Left 4 Dead. We didn't play online and instead just did offline-coop. We did Blood Harvest on Advanced and reached up to the 4th stage. I think it was the best experience I ever had in the game. My bro and I cruised easily in the earlier stages but gave up on the 4th part of Blood harvest. We tried two times before we quit.

The first time that we failed was when I went in a small house just to kill off some zombies there. I went there alone because I wouldn't expect anything special like a Hunter, Smoker, Boomer, or even a Witch. But guess what I found instead...a freaking TANK. Before I know it, it threw me up in the air, killing me instantly. My brother tried to save me but was dragged by a Smoker which was very unfortunate.

The second try was really really epic. We reached the part where we had to use the forklift and tons of zombies would be coming at us. Its epic because me and my bro had only 1 HP left and if I get knocked down one more, I'm a dead man. What we did was find a small corner so that we can focus on one spot to shoot at. It worked perfectly and we were on our way, trying to get to the safehouse slowly. We encountered a Witch but we left alone and soon, swarms of zombies came in. I couldn't believe but we're still alive. We walked up an alley and LEWKKK, there was the safehouse! It was right there. Me and my bro were cautiously walking hoping nothing would go wrong but OH NOES, a freaking tank came out of nowhere and killed us all. It was hilarious...We were right there too...Oh well...

Youkoso! Hitori Bocchi

This song just brings me to tears. The guitar, drums, bass, and the old man's voice just makes me sad and depressed. The English translation for this song means "Welcome to Loneliness" and its from the anime "Welcome to NHK" (Check it out if you haven't watched it yet!). I listen to this song whenever I have a problem. Anyway, I just wanted to share this song with you peeps. here is the English translation:

like my dreams are a tent I'm turning inside out
the pattern made of happier times becomes plain and boring again
just like paper rots and turns yellow
all my words freeze up inside this machine
knock knock knock

embracing a silent space,
hitting the walls uselessly,

knock knock knock
embracing the pitch black night sky,
traveling into the boundless universe...
welcome to loneliness

at the city left at the bottom of the sea
your smile disappears into a green shadow
you speak to me only of regrets

knock knock knock
overflowing with the heartbreak of our fantasies
a flood in my mouth and ears and eyes;

knock knock knock
because of the loss of gravity
I realize my empty uselessness...
welcome to loneliness
loneliness... loneliness
the all-pervasive media is soaked up by my brain

like Othello, while breaking up light
loneliness... loneliness
leaving everything unsaid

Friday

Friday...didn't have anything planned after school. I thought I would just be going home and doing nothing special. But thank goodness, Eros and Matthew planned something for the three of us after school.

So when school ended, we quickly met up at the bus stop and headed to Westlake. We went to Gamestop and bought 2 copies of Street Fighter IV and an Xbox Live Gold. One copy each for me and Eros, and the Xbox Live Gold for Matthew. After buying, we went to my house (or should I say apartment) and started to play. Eros and me were horrible when we first played. Its like we did random punches and the match looked fail. Matthew was kinda pro because he had the game for awhile. After a few hours of playing, unlocking characters, and plenty of laughs, my dad invited us to eat. My dad served us corned beef and eggs with mushrooms and diced tomatoes. It was the first for Matthew to eat corned beef which was really surprising. Enough of that, after eating we went to my room and played more.

After 30 more minutes, Matthew took the bus and left, leaving me and Eros to practice our skillz. We played and we sorta got the hang of it. After an hour of awesome matches, Eros headed home.

Today was really fun and Street Fighter is really addicting. Right now, I'm just chilling and typing up this blog. As I am typing, I'm having a call with a friend, and practicing some Hiragana.
Well thats that....cyaaaa

Confused?

Sup peeps

Just blogging before I go to sleep. I just wanted to express in this post what I'm thinking about. Have you ever experienced how a friend of yours acts like he/she likes you? Its that feeling when you think that person really likes you but in the end, you just misinterpreted their actions? I've had that oh-so-many times. But hey that's life right?

It was this one girl in my school. We have two periods/classes together. I would always joke about me and her going out. Her reaction is saying "Awhh" and grabbing my arm. I guess its my fault too for always joking around and making it look like I wasn't serious.

But then that day happened. It was my English class and I sat next to her. She passed me a note saying how she can't concentrate on her essay. I replied back with a stupid "Will you go out with me?". I know it was stupid, stupid, stupid. I didn't know what happened. When I looked at her, her face screamed "What the f***?" and she was shocked. She replied that she's not ready for a relationship and that it would be awkward for her. I kind of understood how she felt. She doesn't want me to act all awkward around her and wants to stay as good friends. So me, being rejected becomes "Emo Jeddy".

She got worried about me. Of course I didn't want that but her words just made me feel miserable. After school and feeling like shit, she gave me a call. I had to lie...I just can't make her worry about me. I want her to be happy. Yes, I'm forcing myself to smile around her, to talk to her, and to laugh with her. Its hard for me, but I'm only doing this for her. We, then talked for 3-4 hours straight ending at around 2.

The next day I ended up hurting myself more and more. I have to force myself. I just have to.

Finally learning the language?

Supsupsss

Last night, I called up a friend who lived in Japan for 6 years when she was little. Her name is Lea. I asked her if she could teach me some Japanese the following day, which is today, and she agreed! I was very happy to hear that and hope came into me because I really wanted to learn the language. I know you guys are wondering "Hey? Why not self-study?". Well the thing is, I get bored when trying to learn by myself. I thought it would be easier and more fun if somebody could teach me and inspire me in a way.

So after school, I called her so that we can meet up and head to the library. We headed down there and she talked about how the culture is in Japan along the way. I was very interested and got a lot of my questions answered which made me happy. Inside the library, we quickly found 2 basic Japanese grammar books and headed to an empty table.

She started off by explaining the difference of Hiragana and Katakana. Lea also told me the best way to learn the alphabet is by index cards. After she explained to me, she started to teach me how to count in Japanese, some 2 or 3 verbs, and some pronouns. After an hour or so, we got a whole page of notes. She also let me borrow a manga to let me practice reading. I know I won't be able to read it by tonight but I hope to read it little by little.

This experience really helped me a lot and made me committed to learn Japanese. I'll try my best not to be lazy and find the time to learn this complex language. My plan for tonight is to do my homework first (OMG ENGLISH,FRENCH,ALGEBRA) then get started of in writing those index cards. Wish me luck!

Just started

Yo people

I don't have anything better to do in my spare time so my brother recommended me to start on a blog. Expect updates about how my day went, what I'm feeling, me venting, etc.

That is all lol.
