The Library and Saying No

Today, I've discovered the greatest place to study, THE LIBRARY(OMG I KNOW RIGHT). I was planning to go with a friend but too bad she couldn't make it. I had to go alone. I'm actually glad that I went alone because I got a lot of homework done. Just sitting there doing homework for three hours straight also made me relax for some reason. There's also no distractions and I can just do my work while listening to my Ipod. The atmosphere in the library is so calming and just makes me feel relaxed even though there's so much paper in front of me. I'm planning to go to the library whenever I have so much to do. Hopefully with somebody next time.

Yesterday, one of my friends on AIM messaged me asking for advice. Apparently some dude likes her and she needed advice on how to say "No" nicely. I got kind of annoyed at this because you can't say "No" nicely to another person in my opinion. The unfortunate person will get hurt no matter what. It is unavoidable. Of course, saying it nicely would lessen the pain a little but the "hurt" is still there. Hearing the phrase "I see you more as a friend" is hurtful enough. So please, there's no such thing as rejecting a person nicely.

But hey, I was a good friend and told her a nice way to say no.
